This policy explains how EnergyJump.co.uk (“EnergyJump”, “we”, “us”) uses the information you give us. We are the data controller for the details you submit on this website.
What we collect
When you ask for a quote, we collect your business name, your name, phone number, email address, business postcode, business type, approximate monthly energy bill, the fuel you want quoted, your current supplier and your contract end date. We also record the date and time of your request and the page you came from.
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This does not identify you by name.
Why we use it
We use your details to arrange a business energy quote for you. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on our form. We also keep a record of your request to deal with any questions or complaints.
Who we share it with
We share your details with one selected UK business energy broker, who will contact you about quotes. That broker becomes responsible for how they use your details and will give you their own privacy information. We also use trusted service providers to run this website and store enquiries, such as Cloudflare and Google.
We never sell your details to a list of companies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw your consent at any time, by emailing us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
